JobAdvisor analyzed the latest Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics program data, which reveals the top 30 highest-paying jobs in the US. Among the top three are cardiologists, orthopedic surgeons, and pediatric surgeons, with average annual pay of $421,330. Medical professionals, such as nurse anesthetists, also make a lot of money, with an average annual salary of $205,770.
Although not all high-paying jobs are in the medical field, as shown by architectural and engineering managers and lawyers, who ranked 30th and 28th respectively, with an average pay of about $160,000.
