The idea for this website came when the user decided to leave the UK for Portugal due to the UK's departure from the EU. The second website is the user's personal website, samanthanorth.com, where they teach people how to make money through various digital marketing strategies such as blogging, search engine optimization (SEO), and LinkedIn. Last year, the user made $115,000 from their blogs. They have a background in journalism and content writing, and before using AI, they used to write their own blog posts.

To create blog posts, the user would start by reading articles online and conducting research on the topic. They would also draw on their personal experience of moving countries to understand what people might be searching for. To validate their ideas, the user would use SEO keyword research tools like Semrush and Ahrefs to analyze keyword performance and competition. With this information, they would create an outline for the blog and write different sections based on their research.

Although the users initially did not like AI-generated content, they started using AI tools, such as Jasper and ChatGPT, to assist with their content creation process. AI tools help the user interrogate and refine their ideas, validate directions for their blogs, and generate topic clusters related to specific subjects. While AI tools are useful for generating ideas and helping with content structure, the user still believes it is crucial to have personal experience and opinions in their posts. They think that Google's algorithm favors expertise
