As per recent data published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment for software developers, a profession with a median pay of $132,270, is expected to increase by over 300,000 from 2023 to 2033. This signifies significant growth in job opportunities for software developers [citation:10].

Among various occupations, wind turbine service technicians, with a median pay of $61,770, are projected to have the fastest growth from 2023 to 2033 based on percentage increases. On the other hand, home health and personal care aides are expected to experience the largest job growth in numeric terms. These healthcare support roles have a median pay of $33,530, which is below the overall median for all occupations [citation:10].

Business Insider conducted an analysis to identify high-paying jobs that are forecasted to experience substantial job growth over the next decade. Software developers emerged as the top occupation based on the methodology of calculating the geometric mean of employment changes and wages for jobs with projected employment growth from 2023 to 2033 and median annual wages above the general median [citation:10].

The top eight jobs identified in Business Insider's analysis are expected to witness a surge in employment by over 100,000 from 2023 to 2033. These professions generally offer salaries near or above six figures, reflecting their high-paying nature [citation:10].
