FAA Accelerates Air Traffic Controller Training to Address Shortage
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is taking urgent steps to address a critical shortage of air traffic controllers. To expedite the training process, the agency has launched a pilot program allowing students from two Oklahoma schools to bypass certain requirements and begin immediate facility training.
