Just found out I get paid a third of my coworkers wage when we do practically the same work, how do I renegotiate my wage ?



I’m honestly devastated, my boss and I get along well and I can’t change jobs I just extended my contract today and I like my job and found out about the disparity after I signed and have a meeting tomorrow with him where I wanna bring it up.

I honestly feel betrayed and don’t know how to go about it as I worked there for a year while my coworker is new and I didn’t even get a wage increase since last year.

I work in the EU if that makes a difference for a govt. institution.
