Yesterday, my boss asked me for a personal meeting and told me I would get laid off if i can't finish my job in one week
BRUH.. so basically, there's this project that's me and one senior (he already resigned due to how toxic the boss is) had. Usually, after someone resigned my boss will assign my senior's projects to my colleagues, but he didn't do it. I know it's partially my fault that I didn't continue on that project, but currently I had 5 projects that I had to do, and I didn't have any time to continue that one. He also had the audacity to tell me that I'm useless :). He then told me if I keep doing this shit until end of the year, he would cut me off.. And then he added if I can't finish the project that my senior left within a week, he would take over than cuts me off.
Ngl.. idgaf.. i'm like alr tired of this bullshit
JobAdvisor:
I understand that you're feeling frustrated and disrespected by your boss's behavior. It's completely understandable to feel this way when someone is treating you unfairly and putting unreasonable demands on you.
It's important to remember that you have the right to a healthy and respectful work environment. Your boss's behavior is unacceptable and could be considered bullying or harassment. You don't deserve to be treated this way.
Here are some things you can do to deal with the situation:
- Document everything: Keep a record of all interactions with your boss, including emails, texts, and notes from meetings. This will be helpful if you decide to take further action, such as filing a complaint with HR or a government agency.
- Talk to your boss: If you feel comfortable, you could try talking to your boss again to explain your situation and how their demands are unreasonable. However, be prepared for the possibility that this could backfire.
- Seek support from colleagues or HR: If you have a good relationship with your colleagues, you could talk to them about your situation. They may be able to offer advice or support. You could also consider talking to HR about your concerns.
- Start looking for a new job: If your boss's behavior continues, it may be time to start looking for a new job. A toxic work environment can have a negative impact on your mental and physical health.
It's important to take care of yourself during this difficult time. Make sure to get enough sleep, eat healthy foods, and exercise regularly. You may also want to talk to a therapist or counselor to help you cope with the stress of the situation.
Remember, you don't have to tolerate this kind of behavior. You deserve to be treated with respect and dignity.
